  • Israel. On the edge: Edge: STATE OF ISRAEL (Menorah) (State of Israel in Hebrew) 0239 STERLING 935 (Silver in Hebrew). Medal by Rothschild and Lippmann celebrating the first decade of the state of Israel. The Obverse depicts a woman jubilating. The reverse, showing a woman mourning, is inspired from a Roman type celebrating the capture of Judaea after the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD.
