Dido standing left in galley sailing left, holding cornucopia (?) in l. hand, reaching r. hand towards smaller figure bending l. on the prow; in stern a second small figure, advancing r. and reaching r. arm back towards Dido's l. hand; below galley, on either side of the block of oars descending into the water, two murex shells.
