- Turkey. Medal by O. Hoppe representing Enver Pasha the Turkish war Minister of the Ottoman sultan Mohammad V. He was Court-Martialed in 1919-1920 for crimes of “plunging the country into war without a legitimate reason, forced deportation of Armenians and leaving the country without permission” and was condemned to death. He Joined Lenin who sent him to suppress the Basmachi Revolt, but defected to their side. He was killed by Russian soldiers during a surprise attack in 1922 AD
