- Egypt. Medal made by Rizq in 1960 AD as a gift to Jammal Abdul Nasser presented as successor of Saladin. It commemorates the victory over the French king Louis IX who led the 7th Crusade (1248-1254 AD). The Crusader king embarked at Damietta (Demiat) in 1249 AD. He was defeated at the battle of Mansurah in 1250 AD and was imprisoned in the house of the city’s judge Ibrahim bin Luqman before being later released.
